This innovative spirit is more important than ever as we adapt to make sure our team can continue to close real estate transactions in the safest, most efficient ways possible. Our latest evolution: Foundation Title’s Flexible Closings program.

Flexible Closings covers all the options we offer to make sure we are protecting our customer and employee health. Depending on your transaction, our team would be happy to conduct a drive-up closing, start a closing by mail, use electronic signatures for most of your documents, utilize Remote Online Notarization (RON) and/or hold a virtual meeting with all interested parties to explain each closing document. Contact us today to go over your specific options for an upcoming closing.

Realtors

Foundation Title is here to make sure all questions are answered so your buyers/sellers are still comfortable and excited about closing. We have e-signature capability and are always available for a secure video call to go over all the closing documents with you and your clients. Here’s an example of how a Flexible Closings can work.

  • We send the buyer/seller all documents that cannot be e-signed and/or require notary approval via overnight mail or email.
  • We go through all the transaction’s closing documents via a secured video conference. Realtors and loan officers are invited too. We can use FTE Connect, Zoom or our RON-technology providers Notarize or Pavaso for a secure video feed.
  • We can utilize secure video conferencing for a notary public to identify the necessary signers so valid signatures can be affixed to the documents that require them.
  • All signed documents are returned to the Foundation Title office that handled your closing. We then complete the file disbursement and start the e-recording process. Copies of documents can be emailed to buyers and sellers.
